Governance: Commercial Banking

Maturing Policy to Embrace Innovation

The CISO of a quickly-growing commercial bank was reluctant to use Cloud because he believed no adopting would keep security issues to a minimum. The Sales division within that bank took an opposing view from IT and wanted to select a Cloud-based (Saas) CRM solution. The IT division found itself with an old position paper on not using Cloud, no governance on Cloud adoption, and a business unit demanding use of Cloud.
